On October 26th, 2024, the international Chinese teaching skills exchange activity “Chinese Teaching Heroes” (North China Region) was concluded at Beijing Foreign Studies University. The team of the College of Chinese Language and Culture of Nankai University won the “Best Teaching Creative Team” award. 

The team consists of Liu Ji Ke, Tian Yi Wen, and Vietnamese student Nguyen Thi Nhung, with subdean Wang Hong Chang as the instructor. The team adheres to the concept of interactive teaching, combining language and cultural content to design innovative and interesting teaching programs,that are well-received by experts and audiences. Experts from Peking University and Beijing Language and Culture University affirmed the innovative ability and professionalism of the Nankai team. Team members said that they will continue to improve the teaching level and help the international promotion of Chinese. 

The event was sponsored by the National International Chinese Education Professional Degree Graduate Education Guidance Committee and the Center for Language Education and Cooperation (CLEC). Nankai University showed its comprehensive strength and innovative spirit in the field of international Chinese education. In the future, Nankai students will continue to shoulder the mission of cultural communication, actively explore innovative teaching methods, and write a new chapter in international Chinese education with professionalism and enthusiasm.
