To build the brand of “Study in Nankai” and expand international education exchange and cooperation, the School of International Education of Nankai University organized a group to participate in the 2024 “Study in China” Education Exhibition and exchange activities in Laos, Vietnam, and Japan sponsored by Chinese Testing International. 

In Laos, the group of Nankai University exchanged with local students and parents at Lao National University, and dozens of Lao students expressed their intention to study in Nankai. In Vietnam, representatives of Nankai University attended the China-Vietnam Education Cooperation seminar, conducted in-depth exchanges with several Vietnamese universities, and reached several initial cooperation intentions. In recent years, with the continuous development of the “Belt and Road” Initiative, the personnel exchanges and economic and trade exchanges between the two countries have become closer. We hope to attract more outstanding young Vietnamese students to study in China through the “Study in China” Exhibition. 

In Japan, representatives from Nankai University participated in the “Study in China” exhibition and met face-to-face with Japanese students and parents who were looking to study in China. More than 3,000 Japanese Chinese language learners, HSK candidates, and parents visited the exhibition site for consultation. 

These activities have effectively enhanced the brand influence and internationalization level of “Study in Nankai”, laying a foundation for Nankai University to recruit high-quality international students and promote the high-quality development of international Chinese education.
