The School of International Education and the College of Chinese Language and Culture were invited to attend academic conferences and research in Japan

On behalf of the School of International Education and the College of Chinese Language and Culture, Professor Liu Jia and Associate Professor Wang Hongchang were invited to attend the International Chinese Education Academic Conference in Nagoya and Fukuoka, Japan, and conduct recruitment promotion. 

At Aichi University, they participated in the “First International Chinese Teachers’ Workshop” and the “2024 Nankai University-Aichi University China Local Teaching Project Seminar”. The two universities conducted in-depth exchanges and cooperation on Chinese teaching and China studies, jointly promoting China-Japan-friendly cooperation and higher education exchanges. 

At the first “Kyushu, Yamaguchi, and Okinawa Chinese Education Academic Exchange Conference” held by the Consulate General in Fukuoka, Liu Jia and Wang Hongchang respectively made theme reports, emphasizing that regional and national Chinese education is a new trend of high-quality development of international Chinese education in the new era. During the meeting, the delegates held academic discussions on the cutting-edge topics of overseas Chinese education, hoping that Chinese teaching institutions in China and Japan could strengthen cooperation and jointly promote the high-quality development of international Chinese education. 

In addition, Liu Jia and Wang Hongchang also visited several universities in Kyushu region to carry out in-depth research and exchanges and cooperation. In the face of the complex and changing international situation in the post-epidemic era, the college will more actively promote the high-quality development of “Study in Nankai” and international Chinese education.
