On September 29th, 2024, a delegation of teachers and students from the School of International Education of Hebei University of Technology, led by Ma Yongliang, the deputy secretary of the Party Committee and subdean, visited Nankai University for exchange and research. Wang Hongchang, the Deputy Dean of the School of International Education and the College of Chinese Language and Culture of Nankai University, and relevant leaders received the visiting team. 

The two sides made a comprehensive introduction and in-depth exchange on the history, discipline construction, academic research, personnel training, international student management, internationalization construction, and other aspects of the School of International Education. They also discussed how to better serve international students and promote their all-round development. 

The visiting teachers and students also visited the History Hall of Nankai University and participated in an international students’ sharing meeting. The students of the two universities had in-depth exchanges on campus life and learning experiences. This exchange activity deepened the understanding and friendship between the two universities and laid a solid foundation for cooperation between the two sides in the field of international student education. It is understood that the School of International Education of Hebei University of Technology adheres to the philosophy of open education, is responsible for the development planning of international education and the education of international students, and shows a comprehensive, multi-channel and wide-ranging pattern of international cooperation in education.
